Salisbury Family Services is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that offers support for residents of Salisbury, Connecticut who are struggling with financial or other difficulties. Salisbury includes the communities of Lakeville, Amesville, Taconic and Lime Rock.   Salisbury Family Services’ mission statement is brief: “Salisbury Family Services is committed to helping those people in our community experiencing difficulties. With respect for the individual, and a vision for a better community, our goal is to help people help themselves.”

Emergency assistance is available to residents in crisis, including the following programs:

+++· Daycare support and after school programs for children
+++· Distribution of holiday food and gifts for children
+++· Back-to-school clothing
+++· An onsite food pantry
+++· Vocational training funding
+++· Referrals to local and government assistance programs
+++· Summer camp tuitions
