Who We Help
Salisbury Family Services serves residents of Salisbury, CT including the communities of Lakeville, Amesville, Taconic and Lime Rock. To provide this assistance, Salisbury Family Services relies on the generosity of private donors from our community.
How We Help
Salisbury Family Services offers confidential financial assistance and referral services in the following areas:
Housing
Emergency assistance with utilities, rent and costs of daily living
Interest free loans for down payments, closing costs and/or necessary renovations via our McChesney Fund when no other resources are available
Funding for affordable housing projects
Coordinate with Salisbury Housing Committee and Salisbury Housing Trust to help secure homes for families and individuals
Family & Children
Medical and dental assistance
Back to school clothing and supplies
Daycare and preschool scholarships
Funding for afterschool programs
Summer camp tuition aid
Distribution of holiday food and gifts for children
Food & More
Grocery and farm market vouchers
Access to Community Garden plots
Holiday meal assistance
Car repair assistance
